Dear Clif:

Please find enclosed my expense account
for Mrs. Allen and me to St. Louis, Missouri, to
attend the convention of Rotary International.

We left Lawrence Sunday, May 16, and
returned Friday afternoon, May 21. It is not necessary
to tell you that our train was so late we did not get
in to Lawrence until late at night. We will charge
that up to the war and congestion.
