June 4, 1943. Dean Homer Bbright, District Governor of Rotary, Baldwin, Kansas. Dear Governor Homer: - With the heavy enrollment of Naval engineers and the possible coming of Army engineers on or about July 1, Miss Zipple, the director of our Union Building, feels that it will be an impossible task to feed our Rotary group. Therefore, I have made arrangements to eat at the Eldridge Hotel, and have checked with Rotarian Mike Getto the food. The dining room is air-conditioned, and he | will feed us in good style. I am wondering if we could poll the elese check on the numbers it would help him very much. I thought perhaps you might be writing each club; and if ‘the secretary could notify you how many were coming it would be much easier on ° : : z - Twill also make reservations for the extra meeting places that we will have before and after the luncheon. If there is anything else that you would have me do, please notify me. With all good wishes, I am Rotarily yours, Director of Physical Education, FGA: AH Varsity Basketball Coach.
