Lewrence Rotary extends sincere sympathy
and best wishes for your oarly recovery regarding your
very unfortunate accident in a football geme last Saturday. :
You and Bill Hargiss are the hard luck guys. It took a | 3
horse to get Bill down, but just a football player took

I am not jesting, Lis, bedause i know it is
a doggone aerious proposition, and we want you to know that
we are pulling for your speedy recovery. ‘Tommy Evans waa :
up from Baldwin yesterday and I asked Tommy when he got up
to tell us about your hard luck, which he did.

And too, it is too bad that this long
eleven or twelve year stretch of conseautive attendance
record might be broken by your injury. I am kind of
figuring that Baldwin Rotary will figure out some way to
get in your attendance. At any rate, we wish you a speedy
recovery, big fellow.
