Dear Dr. Allen:
I regret very mich that I have been unable to give you a definite
answer relative to the University of Kansas playing here during
the pre-Christmas holidays. You know, we do not go in very strong for
Basketball at the A & M College. It is somewhat of a minor sport here
and the committee does not think at the present time that they could
entertain cis during that particular period. However, I have noticed
that you are playing Texas University and then Southern Methodist
with a couple of vacant dates between said games. If you do not fill
these two dates let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.
I have watched the success of your teams for the past number of
years and I am always happy to see Kansas on the long end of the
score which seems to be a habit you have well founded in the playing
minds of your boys. You are to be congratulated on the wonderful
success and record that you have made during your long term of coaching.
Wheat is the date that you have your coaching school at Kansas
this summer?
