My dear Dr. Allen:

Wer Department orders indicate an immediate change in the
ROTC. It will no longer be called ROTC and students will receive
intensified military training which will require the complete time
of our instructors. In view of the above, we will be unable to
renew our agreement to conduct physical education next semester.
We ask that the substitution of two hours drill for two hours.
physical education be continued for ROTC students.
