I am very happy to have your fine letter, but I do hold it against you because you were down here last month with your ball club and escaped me entirely. In all seriousness, I apologize for having missed youe It happens that I was out of town one of the days and the papers revealed “= your second game was called off an account of wet ground. It just rains all the time in Oklahoma 4nd we have practically given up any thought of ever playing outdoors. 1 am going to have lunch with Henry Ipa here in the city tomorrow. You may be sure I will give you a full report of the gleanings from our conversation, and you may bet that he will be fully publicized if he ducks out of this series, Ihe boys in Oklahoma think it has done as much, df not more, for basketball than any one set of games, I have a date to go to Lawrence with Bobby Lynn and Boots Adams for the Commencement festivities. This projected trip may conflict with the official opening of our new paper house. We are in our new plant, but will not have the full dress rehearsal until the first or second week in June. It is quite a place and we are very proud of it and it should help our business and efficiency considerably. Ido hope it is possible for me to get to Yawrence as I have not been back for Commencement since I left schoole “PAPER IS OUR BUSINESS AND NOT A SIDE LINE”
