Mr. Kirk Scott Newton, Kansas Dear Kirk: It has been our custom in the past few.years to invite out- standing seniors who are proficient in basketball to come to the Uni- versity on the morning of our Relays, April 18, about 10:00 o'clock, and work out with our varsity end freshmen basketball players in Robingon Gymnasium. It is not necessary that you bring any athletic equipment. We will check out equipment to you and you will have a lot of fun shooting grass and playing informally from 10:00 to 11:30. - QOur varsity basketball players will be dressed and will put on a few drills, but nothing elaborate. You merely check out equip- ‘ment and go with the boys on the floor and have a lot of fun shooting baskets, tes take & chower, ant you ere ready for an eerily start for the outstanding Kansas Relays. H We will have a ticket ready for you for the Kansas Relays in the afternoon. Our purpose in having you here is to give you an opportunity.to meet our varsity players.
