Dear Doctor Allen:

I talked to Harold Howey about coming to
Lawrence some weekend as you suggested when I
was in your office last Tuesday. He seemed very
interested to have a talk with you and I told
him I could bring him to Lawrence any weekend
this month and would leave it to you to decide
when the best time would be. He told me two men
in Pleasanton had mentioned K.U. to him, Bradley
an insurance man and Jack Smith a coal dealer.

If there is any other information you wish
to know about Howey, I would be glad to get it
for you. I have talked to some of the people
in town and will be able to give you their in-
formation about Howey.
