I received your letter concerning me
coming to K. U. this Spring to the relays
and to practice in the gymnasium.

I know it would be an honor to meet
your varsity team and I appreciate the
opportunity greatly. I regret to say that
our High School tennis team is going to
play in the Ark Valley and the State about
that time. Our coach thinks we have a good
chance, so I would hate to let him down.
