in our home efter the geme with the Oklehoma Aggies last
nighte He spoke very »ighly of you es man and as an
athietee When he tol¢ me that you were a brother of Steve,
I considéred thet a fine recommendation; and when he said
the things he did regarding you, thet wes still e better ones

Dre Peete states that you ere interested in
continuing your higher education, end he is of the opinion
that you would like to ettend the University of Kansase I
desire to assure you thet if you should consider the
University of Kansas, and if you need work to help defray
your expenses, we would be very heppy to give you a jobe

We would be very happy te have you come down the
morning of the Kansas Releye, April 19, and shoot a few
beskets with our Versity boys. It is our custom every year
to invite Kansas high school stars to meet our Varsity boys
on the morning of the Fensas Releyse There is no formal
program; you check out ecuipment and the boys go on the floor
with the Varsity and heve a lot of fun shooting baskets.
Then they teke a beth end are ready for a good meal at noon
and the Kansas Relays in the afternoon.

We would be gled to heve you as our guest at the
Kansas Relayse We heave a ticket for you if you care to
attends
