Dear Dr. Allen:

I receivedyyour letter of February 6, stating the fact
that Mr. Glenn Perkins had spoken to you about my wish to
come to the University of Kansas for my schooling next
fail.

I am also sorry that I missed an opportunity to meet
you. Mr. Vanek has told me a great deal about you.

I will plan on coming up for the week-end of April
19, and will stay with Mr. Perkins at the fraternity house.
Should I bring my own equipment along for the work-out
on Saturday morning?
