“Have you been measured for
your cap and grown yet?” was the
murmur running through the sen-
ee alley last Tuesday and Wednes-

ay.

One hundred and ninety-one. sen-
iors marched through Miss Lavina
Liebengood’s ‘sewing room to be
measured for eaps and gowns for
baccalaureate and commencement.

The seniors have use of these
caps and gowns for a week with-
out charge.

Chemistry students are studying
the Halogen family. This family
consists of chlorine, flourine,, bro-
mine, and iodine.

Moundridge and Marion each
placed two men on the Newtonian
class A all-star team. Peabody
furnished the fifth member.
\ At forwards were placed Baker

of Peabody, and Province of Mar-
ion. Baker was chosen because he
is a good floor man and accurate
shot. Province was chosen princi-
pally because of his ability to hit
in the clinches.

At .center, Stucky of Mound-
ridge was given the nod and was
also chosen captain. He plays a
good floor game and is a consistent
shot.

At guards, Lee of Marion and
Parks of Moundridge ranked first.
Lee is a fine guard and good shot.
Parks was given his place because
of the fine guarding he did of
Baker in the semi-final round.

of the natural partiality they
