I am sorry to say that I cannot accept
your invitation to the relays and to workout
in the gym, because at this time our school is
having its annual Government Inspection and
since it is a honor military school it will
not permit anyone to leave the school during
the inspection. I thank you very much for the
invitaion and I cannot think of anything I

would rather do than to shoot e few baskets.

I have high hopes of coming to K.U. this
fall and hope that I may meet you at that time.
