Dear Dr. Allen:

Some time azo, I received the principal appointment to Annapolis.
Last week T was informed that I failed to meet the qualifications desig-
nated by the Naval Academy.
Although it was my original desire to attend Annapolis, ~ am not

e result. I would like very much to attend

college if possible.
Kansas University has always been my goal, if 1 didn't make. Annapo-
lis. A number of my friends have talked with me concerning Ky Uy, Bae

IT am very interested.

My financial condition et the present time is none too promising;
therefore I will need some form of outside work in order to attend college.

Any recommendations you may desire can be secured from any of my
previous teachers, coaches, or employers.

Any information you might have, would be greatly appreciated.
