Dear Phog:-

Here is the information i zot today on sarl Stark, He is the son of a
carpenter at one ef the packing heuses, and while his father has steady work there are
other children in the family and they don't have much money to educate darl, He is just
an averaze student but I'm sure that he could do good college work,

He has a sister living in Leavenworth, Kkan., and could probably register
out of there in order to get around the out-of-state student clause if that Would create any
difficulties for hin,

Hank Iba now appears to have the inside track on him, although George
Rdwards has shown interest in him, He's going to make some one a wonderful college player,
as I told you the other night and as you had heard before, i'd like to see him go to k,U,
because he is just the kind of boy you like to coach and would go to town under your system
of play,

Let m2 know ahead of time when you sre coming over here so 1 will he sure
to be in town,
