Dear Doc:

I spoke to you about a young fellow, a brother of one
of the girls who works in our office. He is a first-class
hasketball prospect, his name is Harry Je Foresman. Right now
he is working for us at our mine at Ottawa, Illinois, but will
be soon layed off because of slackening businesse Unless I cm
find him work for the summer he won't have a thing to start on
which, of course, is bade

I do know he is a particularly good worker, has the
right idea about things in general and would be extremely easy
to get along with.

If its at all possible I'm going to try to get him to
Lawrence before the school year is out, in order that you may
meet him. Incidentally, he is a big tall guy, perhaps 6' 4",
played center on the Siloam Springs, Arkansas highschool team
and was the star of the immediate countrye He is the type of
boy you are looking for and one with whom you can work in your
best possible mannere

My elation over the outcome of the Missouri game was
practically boundless and I know thet the feeling you had
couldn't be measured by any materiel yardstick. Let us pray
most fervently that your gang is hot tomorrow night and that
it comes through triumphantly. We won't take the let-down at
Creighton seriously, because it is very apparent what happened.
