Dear Dr. Allen,

I am writing you to let you know that according to mv
present plans I intend coming to K. U. this fall.

I have already made arrangements to stay at the Carl

Drake home and would appreciate your saving that job for me.

I have been working about everv day at Penrev's store
but I don't know how long it will last. I hope to get an
outside job, manual labor, for at least the month of August.
I hope this tyre of work will put me in a good physical shape
for the openning of school.
