During February I managed to keep busy officiating basketball games, sometimes three a week, but now I have more time to devote to so-called unfinished business. "I have talked to Burnett and Schwertéeger several different times about going to school at K.U. next year. I believe they are both ‘interested in the University. Burnett undoubtedly will make some coach an outstanding athlete. He has every thing it takes to mske a good 7 athlete, and he absorbs what they coach wants him to so easily. He = has improved 1000 per cent in his pley each year in school, and with ie a year of freshman training should be hard to stop. Sehwertfeger is wondering about the edvisibility of his going to the University, since he has had two years of junior college competition. - Shorty is another swell boy, and I certainly wouldn't recommend him if he wasn't. £ checked up on the grades both boys have made in school, and — they will average a "BM.
