April 2, 19359 va Dear Doctor Allen: It seems to me that you have become quite a "oad-about."” Every time I see an article in the paper about you it is from a different city. John Hallberg and I are now deep in our second semester of work at Junior College. We both finished the first semester with better than a "C" average. Next week John plans to go to the state De Moley Basketball tournament. Although our Westport M. E. team ended in | fourth place in our league it had the distinction of loosing five games by one point, The coach of our team, "Ken" Cormany, former Kansas City Life player, is quite pleased with John's improvement this season. John and I should like to have the opportunity of talking with you again some Sunday in the near future, preferably a week or two after Easter. The "Soso" job is developing in fine shape. Although I won't be able to make a salary my first summer, Mr. Touton, has offered me a fine commission on each boy I can get to attend, With the help of several friends I have worked up a formidable mailing list of more than thirty prospects. I write on the average of ten letters a week in connection with my sales campaign which should surely bring some results. The “old bank account" is starting to get fat again for since Christmas I have been working 40 hours a week on my old job at the Star. : I close with the hopes of hearing from you SOON» Sincerely _o lunvon H heone
