Dear “"Phog":-

Have a letter from Hank Iba this morning in which he states
that you are planning on having another get-together between the
Big Six and Missouri Valley basketball coaches and that you will
plan a breakfast get-together on Saturday, December 3. Wonder
if you would be kind enough to write me the full detail of the
sequence of your basketball meeting, which, I presume, will be in
Kansas City, in order that I may further plans for our Athletic
Directors meeting. You, undoubtedly, know that three of our
basketball coaches happen to be the athletic directors.

Tentatively, I should like to set the time of our Athletic
Directors meeting on Friday morning, December 2 at 9:00 A. M.
This probably will run through the entire day. We plan on hav-
ing a conference dinner that night at six o'clock for our faculty
and athletic directors, and those basketball coaches who hapven
to be there. This should leave Saturday open all day for our
basketball coaches. Does this plan fit in with yours?

Wheat did you think of the proposal for officiating? I sent
a copy of the plan to each of the athletic directors, faculty
representatives, and basketball coaches in -your conference,
