‘ December 9, 1941 “2= (3) Coaches are to do everything in their power to stop anything off-color among the players. (4) We are to make every effort to keep spectators out of the of~ ficial dressing rooms both before and after the game. (5) Timers are to be cautioned that the official will clearly designate time-out on all fouls. (Point in question is that in a game where seconds are very important, i.e. late in the game, the timer has been uncertain as to whether or not to stop his clock on the blowing of the whistle as he could not tell if it was a held ball or a foul. Now in the event of a foul the official will turn at once to the timer's bench and give the time-out signal. (6) After a declined free throw the ball is to be thrown in on the side of the outer official. (7) On violation, the player committing the violation shall toss the ball to the nearest official.
