I would like to have permission to play a short B team
schedule from you and the Athletic Board. Basketball made quite
& sizeable sum of money last year and since we cannot play any outside
games here at home for profit, I have constantly followed the lucrative
scheme of playing away from home and placing a gurantee that will net
financial return. I believe I am not selfish in asking this permission
since Kansas basketball has always made money and since we scheduled
games to make moneys For that reason I would appreciate this permissione
