Decenber 26, 1941. Mr. Bugene C. Zachman, Director, Municipal Auditorium, Kansas City, Missouri. Dear Gene: Thank you for your letter and your good wishes regarding e Merry Christwes and a Happy New Year. May I reciprocate by wishing you the very best of Yuletide blessings. I also thank you for the carbon copy of the letter that you have written to It. Commander Robert A. Brown, at Great Lakes, Illinois. Lieutenant Hall came in to my office and we talked over the details of the game very thoroughly. And if and when the Big Six faculty representatives give us per- mission, I am sure that we will draw a fine crowd in Kensas City. It was an eeuhied coincidence, was it not, that February Sth is the only date that you would have open? I believe that the Big Six may grant permission. Lt. Hall oalled me Monday and I gave him all the data that would permit Lt Commander Brown to take it up with the officers of the Big Six Conference. I told him that as soon as they got permission I would get in touch with you and we would gign a contract for the hall. I will appreciate your holding it until they can notify us as to the action of the Big Six Conference. Thanking you for your ——e and with all good wishes, I am ~~ Very sincerely yours, Director of Physical Education and Recreation, FCA:AH Varsity Basketball and Baseball Coach.
