Dear Mr. Zachman:

We have the green light from the Chancellor and
Dean Swarthout on having the University Band play at our
game in the Auditorium on February Sth. B5ut Mr. Wiley, the
director, is out of tow on a tour, and since I em leaving
tonight for Lincoln and Ames I will not get to see him mtil
I return. However, I am writinc him a letter, and I am quite
sure that everything will be oeke But Mr. Wiley is the dir-
ee rey A

If the band could get to Kansas City early enough
they might arrange to play at one or two of the high schools.
Of course we will have to pay their expenses. You know this,
but I just wanted to mention it again so that we would not
overlook it.
