Dear Phog:

I am enclosing contract for basketball game
to be played at Iowa City on January 29, also
with the stipulation we play a return game at
Lawrence the following year. In the past we have
played road games between December 18 and December
25, and I was wondering if you would be willing
to play us at Lawrence some time between this
period.

I am anxious to agree upon the officials for
our game this coming season, and I would like to
have you recommend an official from the Big Six.

I in turn will endeavor to get the second official
from our Big Ten Conference.

I recommend Gil McDonald who worked your
final game at Kansas City a year ago, or Bill
Haarlow from Chicago, If you have any other
preference, kindly advise.
