THE CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS OMAHA, NEBRASKA BUSINESS MANAGER April 5, 1940 Dr. Forrest C. Allen Basketball Coach University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas. Dear "Doc": In keeping with our conversation at Kansas City a list of our late games is as follows: | Feb. 1 Drake at Omaha Feb. 5 Tulsa at Omaha Feb. 8 St. Louis at Omaha Feb. 13 or Bradley Tech at Peoria (tentative) Feb. 15, : Feb. 20 Oklahoma A. & M. at Omaha Feb. 24 Washington at St. Louis Feb. £5 St. Louis et St. beuis Mar. 1 Drake at Omaha Mar. 7 Washburn at Topeka We should always be interested in continuing our games if arrangements can be worked out satisfactorily. I shall look forward to hearing from you in the near future and have your suggestions if it appears we can work out a game. I enjoyed our visit in Kansas City and also the convention. Especially the first part of the finals when our representative was ahead. Even though you were not able to win that one game your team was representative and certain- ly was a credit to our area and basketball in general. It is splendid that the games will continue next year at Kansas City. With Kindest regards, 1 an, Basketball Coach ESH: WH
