wire our b = an effort to stimulate them for a win
over Nebra

Undoubtedly your wire aided in the fight and
determination the Kansas boys put in this game to whip
Nebraska, I want you to know that the boys and I all
appreciate what you did and the motive that prompted
your sending the wire.

We are mighty sorry that you cobs not be with
us, but your wire did the trick and we are grateful.
