Dear Phog:

I have received no definite information about
the annual meeting of the Rules Committee. Ye agreed
tentatively last “arch to have our meeting in Chicago
about April 6-9 and I have heard of no proposal to
change that arrangement, I believe the coaches are to
meet in Chicago about April 3-5 which would fit. well
with our tentative plans and would be convenient for
the coaches on our committee,

I have been intending to thank you for having
the publishers send me a copy of your new book and to
congratulate you upon it, but have been awaiting an
opportunity to read it. Because of some special work I
have been doing in mathematics, it has been necessary
for me to devote my spare reading time to that subject
so that I have been able to merely glance through your
book, I shall finish my special work in mathematics
