Dear Dr. Allen:

I am glad to know tkat you can give us
a game of basketball to be played in Lawrence.
I can not blame you in the least for not wanting
to come to Pittsburg but we will be very happy
to have your team kere for a game if you can
work it into your sckedule. We have many
K.U. Grads here in Pittsburg and surrounding
territory that would be very glad of the
opportunity to see your team in action.

We do not have a single date closed on
our sckedule so I am asking you to suggest the >
date that you will want us for the game in
Lawrence. We will have to kave sufficient
suarantee to pay out on the trip.

I skall be in Lawrence Saturday for the
Iowa State game and I may see you at that time.
