Your kindletter of 16 October received.

I thank you sincerely for the ppportunity
of extending an invitation to play at Lawrence on
1 December. While I agree with you that this date
is early, I see no reason why we can not accept it.
Accordingly I am entering this game for 1 December
on our schedule and presume it will be played at
night.

I hardély know what suggestions to offer
you in regards to a home game here but if you de-
sire to play one early in the season, may I sug-
gest the dates of Tuesday 14 December, or Friday
17 December?

In closing allow me to again express my
appreciation of your generous cooperation in ar-
ranging this December first game and hope that we
can arrive at a mutually satisfactory date here.
