Dear Sire:

We are going to have a fairly good basketball team here at
Fort Leavenworth, Kansas this season which will be made up of
players from various organizations here on the post. Many of these
boys were former college players in this areas If your schedule
has not been completed we would like very much to have you notify
us of available dates for home’ and home games.

Since our facilities to handle large crowds at games here are
limited, negotiations are under way with the high school officials
to use the gym in the city of Leavenworth which is adjacent to the
post.

We would also appreciate any suggestions from you concerning

the basis upon which you would play here and the conditions suitable
to you for our appearance on your courte
