Dear Lew:

I have just received a letter from Clarence Hoff
stating that the Boy Scouts have taken both dates,
December 3 and 4, but we have asked that the lith be
held for us. Therefore, if agreeable to you we will

the 13th.

I recognize the fact that these dates are very
close together but wa hed already scheduled « guns :
with Marty Peters of the U. S. Naval Air Station, here
on the 15th and ow Christmas vacation starts on the
18th. So it would not be possible to get you in here
before the Christmas vacation.

The reason why I thought it best for us to play
in Kansas City first is that we could draw a much better
erowd with your alumi and ours if we had not met prev-
jously. So while these are close together, I believe it
- Ads best we can do under the conditions, don't you think?
Our games here start at 7:50 p.m.
