complinentary tickets. I do not think we will need e great many, but
I will let you know prior to game time what our needs will be.

- I ha@ not planned om bringing our band and cheerleeder. ‘This is
rather an expensive item and unnecessary travel is frowmed upon by our

national administration. We have been endeavoring to see if it
not be possible to use a high school bend. Arrangements are way
to have a game between Argentine and Rockhurst high schools, and we
thought it might be possible to get one of those high school bands,
which would keep down the expenses.

I would be very happy to cooperate with you in providing entertain-
ment between halves. Since 1922 we have always had entertainment be-
tween halves for our games here. We are playing the freshmen on December
first, and we believe we are going to have a novel entertainment between
halves of thet game. Porhaps Lieut. Gerdner may want to come and scout
use If he does, why don't you come along with him?

This is a little late to make arrangements between halves, but I
‘would be happy to have the pleasure of going over some of the details
with you which I believe could be still worked out in an acceptable
Dame?

fnd here's another idea. Liéut. Theodore M. O'Leary, 12th floor
of the Bryant Building, in Kensag City, I believe could offer some fine
suggestions for a patriotic demonstration between halves. I have
arranged with Lieut. O'Leary to have charge of the entertainment between
halves of the Great Lakes and Pre-Flight School games between the Univ-
ersity of Missouri and the University of Kensas, but Larry Snyder called
off his entire basketball schedule for the Iowe City boys. Captain Ted
- OfSullivan also cancelled his entire schedule for the Reseption Center
at Fort Leavenworth. That is why we are playing the freshmen on December
first instead of playing the Reception Center.

I have tentatively discussed with the high schools the possibility
of their bands playing on December 5th. Don't you think it would be well
