I do not think it would be a good thing to play
our games so close together, say either January 29 or
50, or Februany 2 at one place end February 8 at the
other. |

I would like to play somebody at home prior to our
game with Jewe on December 21. Therefore, I would rather
have you on the December date here than to play at your
place, if we can arrange it. We ere also figuring on
playing Rockhurst College in early December. We will per-
haps play t&mt come in Kansas City, so I would like to
have one game at home before December 21.

I have just received a letter from Dean Swarthout
of our Schogl of Fine Arts and he has acheduled a concert
on February(Sth in the Auditorium with the Kansas City
Philharmonic Orchestra. Therefore, that date is out of
the way as far ag we are concerned this year. So please
do not count on it because the Fine Arts people have a
priority date.

There is a sibility that we might play you in
Omaha on January 29°or 30 if our dates with the service
teams do not work out. It may be that both of us wili
have to make a special trip to Lawrence and to Omaha for
our games rather than pick one up on the road. if you
should find yourself unable to play on a December date,
could you come to Lawrence for a game on March 4th?
