Dear Eddies

Thank ycu for your letter of the 2nd cohen, enclosing
a copy of your schedule.

I had written to Rollie Williams suggesting that we

_ Play our game with Iowa before his conference schedule starts.
I don't know what he will do, but I want to get that date
cleared up first, if I can, because there is always difficulty

play a retum games.

In case that doesn't happen, whet would you think of
playing one of two games prior. to the Christmas holidays? ie
could play either at Creighton or at Lawrence. What is your
contemplated early season schedule? I doen't want to crowd
too many games in during our playing season if we could get
one or two played early. I have often suggested to our Big |
Six members that we play some games before Christmas in our
conference, but I can never quite get them to agree.

If you will send me your examination dates - when you
. cannot play - that will help me in picking dates.

We have discussed tentatively January 30 for our date
with the Great Lakes team. February 8, the other date you
suggest, would be all right for Lawrence, I think, as we are
playing Iowa State two days before, but I do not think it
would interfere in any way. This Great Lakes game may not
work out, but if we could wait a little while until we get
some word from Iowa we will try to work it out.

I am sure we can get together satisfactorily on dates.
