My dear Phog:

I am sorry to have delayed getting
in touch with you in regard to arranging a date
for our basketball game this coming season, but
I have been waiting to hear from Major Griffith
relative to our Big Ten schedule. To date he
has not sent me any scheduled playing dates, but
I was happy to note in your recent letter that
you would be interested in playing us just prior
to your Christmas holidays. I am anxious to pley
Nebraska and the University of Kansas on the same
trip, if possible.

I am writing Lewandowski of Nebraska
to see if he would be interested in playing us at
Lincoln on December 19th. Would it then be agree-
able if we played you on the following Monday,
December 2ist? If this date is satisfactory, I
would appreciate hearing from you as early as
possible.
