Dear Eddie:

I will go along with you on Gibbs, Curtis, VanReen,
and Oberhelman. I think it would be a swell idea to cet
either Gibbs or Curtis to work with Van Reen or
at either place. ‘The expense should not be too much for
these games. : nee .

fnd I will agree also, Eddie, to having Gibbs and
either Roper or Harrison at Omaha, although I heave never seen
Roper work and know nothing about him.

Our boys have not been happy with Parke Carroll's
officiating for several yerrs and I am placing a tremendous
obstacle in their path when I select either Parke Carroll or |
‘Ted O'Sullivan. |

Let's see if we can't work it out along this line
that we have agreed to. You write a letter to Artie Eilers
and Reaves Peters and send me a carbon copy of your letter.
This will be highly satisfactory.
