Dear "Doc":

I wish to acknowledge receipt of your letter of
May 26th and the enclosed contract for our games
next winter.

We are looking forward to a full program but
realize that there is a strong possibility of
considerable curtailment on account of war conditions.

Please let me know your suggestions for officials
and I will also advise you of the men who will be
available in this area as soon as it is known.
I suppose we should then leave the details of |
securing assignments to the two commissioners.

We are most happy to have these dates closed and
shall look forward to having your team play in
Omaha again as well as to the enjoyable game at
Lawrence.
