As I promised you, I am sending you an autographed copy
of my book, “Better Basketball". I believe that you will
find some interesting reading in this. We have some yarns
in the back of the bcok, The Tales of Yesteryears, which I
hope will prove of some interest to you. :

The standardized basketball nomenclature is found. on page
29, and I would also like to call your attention to the
discussion of practical research in basketball on pages 19
to 29. I have also dealt with individual defense, team
defense, individual offense, team offense, just about the
way Clair Bee's new books by Barnes are handled, I am told.

Realizing that the high achool coach had very little
training on treatment of athletic injuries, I wrote a
chapter for them.

I believe it is a very comprehensive book; at Jeant, I
worked hard enough on it.

It was a great pleasure to make your acquaintance, Joe,
and if you ever come out in the Indian and buffalo country
