Dear Dr. Allen,

I thought I should write and acquaint you with the
fact that I am to coach Basketball at Rockhurst this year, due to
the fact that "Red" Anderson's duties have been increased at the
Faultless Laundry.

Father Paul Smith, the Faculty Athletic Director, is
under the impression that you have made most of the arrangements
for the game to be played between K.U. and Rockhurst here in K.C.
on Denember llth, som I would like to ask a few questions concerning
the game and would appreciate hearing from you at your earliest
convenience regarding this matter.

Have financial arrangements been made with Ward High
and Rockhurst High about the preliminary game?
Have you obtained officials and how about tickets and advertising?
What do you think about a band? ours band is "terrible" and would

suggest that we ask Ward High Band if you care to have one.

We shall be glad to do anything we can to facilitate matters

so do not hesitateito call upon us.
Hope we will have a good enough team to make an interesting
game.
