I have talked with Leu Lewer at the Municipal Auditerium
and with Tem Ven Cleave, in Kansas City, Kensas, regarding the
Argentine High end Rockhurst High playing a game preliminary to
the Kensas—Gerdner Air Base game on December Sth, and for Reck-
hurst High end Ward High te pley preliminary toe our game with
Rockhurst College on December 11th. .

Quite some time ago you wrote ir. thr] Falkenstien
regarding eur game on December llth, stating that for a prelin-
inary you could arrange a game between Rockhurst and Central —

i ef Kensas City, Mo. It is my understanding that the Kensas
City, Missouri, high schools in that league will not play pre-
liminary games. I may be mistaken, but I thought that I would
write you and ses if you just had this Central game tentatively
arranged with Heckhurst High. | |

I talked te Father Luebke, the Athletic Direocter at

Rockhurst, end it was with him thet these arrangements were
made to play Argentine and Ward. ee

| Lou Lewer told me that perhaps you might not be seach- —
ing Reckhurat because the Paultless people had made you a
flattering offer and you might continue with than with no diversions.
Won't you please write me and tell me regarding your status with
Rockhurst so that we may deal with the people at Rockhurst if you
are not cenmnected with them longer? We desire to negotiate regard-
ing arrangements for the game on December 11th. }
