May 9, 1942. Mr. Jd. B. Anderson, Rockhurst College, Kansas City, Mos Dear "Red": We will expect you at Lawrence on Wednesday, May 13. The starting time of all our games at home is 3:30. We will plan to pley at Ruppert Stadium on May 15. | We have no snapshots or pictures of our baseball group, but the Kensas City Star has a cut of Enute Eresie. I believe they took it when he was playing with Iola or when he played in Kansas City with the all-sterisin the B-J League. We are always glad to cooperate with you in matters of publicity but we do not have any pictures of our baseball team due to the fact that they do not go that heavy for the sport here at the University. And too, our photographers that were formerly employed by us are now in the Navy. : if any of your boys have a camera when you come Wednes- day you could shoot any pictures of Hodges, the catcher who is a tackle on the football team, and Kresie, end others, and doubt- less the Star might use some of that stuff if you could sell then the idea. | \ Gah _ Now, regarding basketball.
