Dear Doctor Allen:

Pursuant to our coversation of October 17, 1942 in
regard to contacting Wyandotte High School and Ward High
School for the purpose of playing preliminary basketball
games on December Sth and December llth, respectively, I
have this to reports:

I contacted Mr. F. Le. Schlagle regarding this game
and he in turn contacted Mr. J. F. Wellemeyer and Mr.
Wellemeyer sent me a letter which I am enclosing herewith.
This letter is self-explanatory. I also contacted Mr. Tom
Dorney, Head Basketball Coach at Ward High School, who in-
formed me that his team would be glad to play a preliminary
game to the Kansas Rockhurst College game on December 11th,
1942. I informed him that you would contact him relative
to this game.

If there is anything further you desire me to do in
this matter, please do not hesitate to call upon me.
