For the basketball games at Madison Square
Garden the New York colleges have decided to
use the Goldsmith X9L ball as the official
balle

The Madison Square Garden court is 52 feet
widee The distance between the baskets is

82 feete There is an extension of two feet
behind the baskete It will be impossible to
alter the court for the coming season in order
to provide the extension of four feet behind
the basket. Labor conditions and the schedule
of events there make it impossible te change
the end lines.
