April 3, 1942. 9 Rockefeller Plaza, New York City, N.Y. Dear Neds - *%o arrange their schedules accordingly. I also realise that these teams which have been playing traditional opponents year year out are the ones t be considered. It was just a thought I had of planning a schedule with that caused me to think about going east. I have believed that the team could learn many fundamentals trip, I heave always noticed that a team generally slumped when For that reson I have never been enthusiastic about making a long trip and then jumping into a conference schedule. Personally, I would much rather win my conference championship then to have an all-victorious team outside of the conference. or that reason, Ned, I wanted to play an early schedule if I made a trip, and then get back in time to readjust ourselves. So it is with no idea of disappointment thet I am deciding not to make the trip east this coming year. Maybe in another year we will be in a better position to magotiate the trip. Many of my boys were sophomores, and they should be much better with 8 : ensoning. Thanking you for your very courtesus treatment at all times, and with kindest personal regards, I am Sincerely yours, , Director of Physical Education and Recreation, FCA: AH Varsity Basketball and Baseball Coach.
