NORTH AMERICAN AVIATION, INC. OF KANSAS KANSAS CITY K ANS AS January 10,1943 Dr. F.C. Allen Head Basketball Coach University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear "Doc": it was good to talk to you again although it was kind of a short conversation. I'm glad that the “triple header" could be worked out, for the benefit of our employees and players, and I believe it will help the gate. Our "Bombers" aren't world beaters, but they are capable of playing good basketball. We are in the Heart of America league here, and we play any other independent teams that want to play. Most of the boys are high school and Junior College players and all are signed with the A.A.U. I will talk to Louis Lower tomorrow about the ways and means of selling tickefs down here through our Recreation Dept. There seems to be a great deal of interest in the game, and the plant officials think it a swell thing for the company. { am working down here with Roy Sanders in the Recreation Dept. and he says to give you his best. He'll be down at the Auditorium Saturday night. Any releases that you make will be o.k. with us. Not knowing what you have in mind, we hope that you will need to insert Black, Evans, Buescher, or Snellbacher in at least part of the game. All of the fans are looking forward to see these boys play, especially against the "Bombers" Congratulations on the victory over Oklahoma, and you know that the Winn family is pulling for another Big Six title for Kansas. Fraternally yours, Larry Wi Recreati Coordinator
