Received your letter of June 16, concerning
our basketball game in Kansas City. You can count on
us for a game on January 30, Naturally, we expect the
host team to be responsible for the playing arrange-
ments.

In my previous letter, in bringing to your
attention the possibility of a double-header, I just
wanted to suggest to you, for your approval, what might
be a better attraction. Naturally, you know local con-
ditions much better in Kansas City than I do, and we
will be only too glad to abide by your decision; that
is, to play one game,
