I have your very good letter of the 6th instant and note that
you would like to play us on your return home from New Yorke Our
classes begin after the Christmms holidays on January 3, and we
are billed to play the University of Oklahoma at Lawrence on Janu-

You can see that unless we play you before the Christmas holi-
days begin it will be rather difficult to get our two games ine

would be played before Christms, because that was the general
understanding, was it not? I wish you would write me and give me

Methodist desires to come about the 15th or 16th of December.

I heave passed up the making of a trip this year due to the fact
that I have four games scheduled with Texas and Southern Methodist,
and having the contract with you people limited us in our allowable
non=conference games. For that reason I would very much appreciate
your writing me at your earliest convenience regarding the dates
you desiree
