This will acknowledge receipt of your favor of the 20th
instant regarding the possible change of our game at Stillwater
from Pebruary 17 to 18,

I am very sorry, “enry, thet I can riot accommodate you
in regard to this dete. Ye are playing the University of Missouri
_ @t Columbia on February 21, and since that is our big game of the
year, we desire very much to return to Lawrence in time to get
ready for this tough encounter. I want to assure you thet if it
were not for conditions being as they are it would be a pleasure
for us to make the change.

: You may send the contract at your convenience, and it
will be agreeable with me to make the contract read the same as
last years i would appreciate it if you would nominate a list.
