Dear Mr. Allen:

Your letter of the 29th reached my desk this morning and

we will indeed be happy to have the University of Kansas

Basketball Team with us when they play Chicago on the 8th
of this month.

We can put your boys in large rooms with private shower
baths, two or three to a room and furnished with individual
beds at $1.50 per person. One of ovr large rooms with
private bath will be set aside for you with our compliments,

Our catering department will work with you in planning meals
that will coincide with your training rules. Our dining room
serves the famous Harding "Just Wonderful Food" made popular
through the many John P. Harding Restaurants in Chicago.

The Winter Furniture Market opens in Chicago on January 8th
at which time we will be booked to capacity, however, you may
rest assured we will take good care of the boys and are
mentioning this in the event it is necessary to put three men
to a@ room in some cases,

Will you kindly confirm your arrival by collect wire so we
may be in readiness for you when you reach Cificago.
